KADUNA: Bandits invade Sunday worship, kidnap worshippers, kill one

While the it was still in the pain of three varsity students bandits killed among the lot kidnapped over a week ago, Kaduna witnessed another tragedy April 25.

About 10 am, bandits stormed a church during service, kidnapped congregants, and shot dead one person in the process.

The church attacked is located Haske Baptist Church in Manini Tasha village, Chukun Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

The deceased was identified as Dr. Zakariah Dogo Yaro, a medical doctor with the Kaduna State Ministry of Health.

Kaduna has been witnessing more frequently the spate of bandits’ attacks for a while now, and the state governor, Nasir El Rufai has vowed he will never pay ransoms to secure victims of abduction in the state.
