Former Katsina United goalkeeper Kenneth Okoli has sealed a year’s deal with Kwara United with the option of an extension.
The young goalkeeper finalised the deal and signed the dotted line with ‘The Harmony Boys’ in Abuja where the team are training ahead of the new NPFL season.
“Yes, I have signed a year deal with Kwara United and I think it’s a very good decision for me to take at this stage of my career,” Okoli added.
“I am very happy that I am opening another new chapter of my football career with a traditional team like Kwara United. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah goalkeeper added that he will forever appreciate the love the people of Katsina showed him during his time with Katsina United.
“I wish to use this medium to appreciate the people of Katsina State for the love and support they showed to me during my time at Katsina United. I will forever cherish them,” he said.
“The chairman and the entire management of the team are just the best because they treated me like their son.”
Kwara United will travel to Lagos Sunday to play a friendly match with MFM of Lagos before traveling to Ekiti State to honour the 6th edition of Gold Cup competition as they continue to intensify preparation ahead of the new NPFL season.
