My players are concentrated on task ahead —Coach Amunike
Tanzania National team “TAIFA Stars” have arrived the Republic of South Africa ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2019) qualifiers against Lesotho holding at Maseru, Kingdom of Lesotho on the 18th November, 2018.
National Daily learnt that twenty home based players were shortlisted by the team’s Technical Adviser, Coach Emmanuel Amunike for the AFCON tie.
The former African Footballer of the year, Emmanuel Amunike who said, “Presently we are in Blue Mountain, South Africa in preparation for our match against Lesotho next weekend.”
He added, “Twenty home based players are here with me presently, while other foreign based players will join up much later.”
On the team decision to camp in South Africa, he said, “We decided to camp here in the Blue Mountai, South Africa because of its proximity to Lesotho and its similar weather conditions to Lesotho.”
Coach Amuneke explained his team were fully concentrated on there task which is securing a victory against Lesotho and thus qualifying for the AFCON 2019.
He concluded by saying he believed that with God’s grace and luck his team side will get the three points against Lesotho on their home patch.
