Kidnappers abducts woman, demands N100m ransom
Kidnapping for ransom has become a national security threat in Nigeria, Kidnappers of Mrs. Blessing Ajiboye, have demanded a ransom of N100 million from the family to release her.
According to reports gathered by National daily Newspaper, Mrs. Blessing, wife of Mr Johnson Ajiboye , was abducted in her provision store at Elerinjare, a sleepy town in the Ifelodun local government area of Kwara state at about 9pm on Thursday.
The unknown gunmen, numbering about seven invaded the community shooting sporadically before abducting the woman and her two shop assistants.
Also, it was gathered that the woman was abducted alongside her two shop assistants, who has been freed as at the time of this report.

A community leader anonymous, said since the occurrence of the incident, the resident of the area have been living in fear, he added that the security operatives has taking drastic step to bring justice to the perpetuators,’
Also the Nigeria police force security operative has assured the residents of the area of a secure and safe environment after the devastating incident in the area ,
the anonymous community leader disclosed that the kidnappers contacted the family on Friday night and demanded N100 million ransom.
According to a known source who pleaded to be anonymous told our correspondent that the kidnappers contacted the family of the woman on Friday night demanding for ransome before she could be released”.
Residents have called on the state government to tighten and make their security a paramount agenda.
