Kidnappers butcher 5-yr-old victim because she recognises them
Hanifa Abubakar, a five-year-old girl kidnapped last month, has been found dead.
And the manner of her death was that that stirred Nassara, Kano.
Her abductor on Dec 2 realised Hanifa recognized them, and thereby jeopardized their safety and the ransom (N6 million). They then poisoned her, and dismembered her remains.
Police spokesman in the state, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said due to the sustained efforts of security agencies, the suspects, Abdulmalik Mohammed,30 and Hashim Isyaku, 37 were arrested.
The two led a combined team of security operatives to where they buried the victim on the premises of a private school at Kwanar ‘Yan Gana, Tudun Murtala Quarters.
The remains were taken to the Mohammed Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital Kano where she was examined and confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
He said the case will be charged to court after investigation.
