Kwankwaso reacts to defection rumour
Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has reacted to insinuations that he was dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kwankwaso, in an interview, had declared his open-mindedness for discussion with any stakeholder for the sake of good governance regardless of political affiliation.
He had also been sighted in a picture with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a development many saw as a clear signal to his preparation to dump the PDP.
But, Coordinator of Kwankwasiyya Media Forum, Sanusi Bature, said the insinuation lacked credibility, adding that those peddling the news could not substantiate it with fact.
Although Bature did not deny the fact that the former Senator representing Kano Central was not in consultation with political gladiators across party lines, he insisted Kwankwaso had not taken any decision on leaving the PDP..”
