Kwara United chairman visits injured strikers
Kwara United chairman, Sir Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson and Mallam Ibrahim Bako with some staff have visited the injured striker Alebiosu Segun at home in Sango, National Daily learnt.
Alebiosu was part of today’s morning training session, on his way home after training a careless motorcyclist on wrong lane knocked him down, there he has ankle twist, he now walks with the support of crutches.
Alebiosu is certainly looking strong and positive but he will surely miss some matches.
The chairman says “We made the visit to show our support for Segun Alebiosu a gentle, wonderful and respectful player who is always ready to work for the success of the team, we will surely miss his contributions in these few weeks.”
After afternoon training session, the whole team, led by Coach Abubakar Bala, supported by his lieutenants were in his house to empathize with him. Coach Bala, the technocrats felt bad about the incident, but full of thanks to Allah that it was not more than that, in sombre, he wished him quick recovery.
The support of his team-mates and the support and prayers Alebiosu Segun has from all his fans, supporters, admirers and followers are unprecedented. In fact, every player in these circumstances needs this level of support to recover well.
Alebiosu is positive and he is feeling strong. He is really grateful for all of the messages he has received from Kwara United fans, supporters and from people all over the State.
