Life’s Revolving Door
Recently, I was walking through a revolving door, and I couldn’t help thinking about how the revolving door is like life. The door will revolve only if you keep moving, and once you stop, the door stops revolving. The door is unconcerned about your physical, emotional, or psychological condition or state. It is wired in such a way that you have to make an effort in order for it to move forward.
Similarly, with life, when you choose to proceed with your goals, life takes you forward. However, if you put a pause on your goals, regardless of what your situation is, your life will stop revolving. Each of us must navigate life’s revolving door at our own pace. We must move forward regardless of how we feel; we must move forward regardless of where we find ourselves.
The more you move, the more life’s revolving door takes you forward.
