Lightning strike kills IMSU undergraduate
A first-year student of the Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) was reportedly struck d£ad by lightning following heavy downpour.
Chiamaka Obodo, 20, was making a call with her phone inside her parents’ house at the Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State, when lightning struck.
She d!ed on the spot before help could get to her.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the nearest morgue.
She will be laid to rest on Friday, June 17, 2022.
