Lukaku’s message to Chelsea after today’s victory
After today’s victory over Leicester City, Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku delivered a message of congratulations to his teammates. Lukaku is out for the rest of the season after suffering an ankle twist injury during the night of the UCL match against Malmo. He will miss the rest of the season. He was watching the game live as his team defeated Leicester 3-0 today in the Premier League.
Lukaku applauded the team’s accomplishments while his absence from the pitch by captioning a celebration photo taken after the team’s first goal, which was scored by Antonio Rudiger in the 14th minute. ‘Wow, you guys did it. It’s a smart strategy, and it will make for a pleasant weekend following winning. Even in my absence, we are successful as a team. ‘Congratulations and congratulations to London.’
When the players returned from international duty, they put on an incredible show and had a winning mentality when they took the field to take on their opponents. Chelsea’s victory lifted them six points above the bottom of the league to 29 points. They are in an excellent position to make it to the finals of this tournament.
