Mastermind of Ebeano Supermarket fire incident uncovered
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) has revealed that an unidentified woman was responsible for the fire that gutted Ebeano Supermarket, Lokogoma area of Abuja on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
The woman, dressed in a black T-shirt and jeans was captured in the CCTV footage setting fire some goods arranged under cooking gas cylinders on a shelf . After perpetrating the crime which happened at around 7:00pm, the woman walked briskly away from the scene of the incident.
Her action led to the fire that razed the multi-million naira shopping mall all night and into the early hours of the next day.
The cause of the fire was said to be unascertained at the time it happened.
It is yet unknown if the Police have been able to identify the arsonist.
