Melaye: Again, police boss dares Senate
IGP Ibrahim Idris is currently being represented by Deputy Inspector-General of Police Joshak Habila at Senate where the IG is to explain the arrest and detention of Sen. Dino Melaye last week.
Habila arrived at the National Assembly Complex while the Senate had begun a closed-door session.
He was waiting to be called into the chamber at the office of Ita Enang, the senior special assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters Ita Enang.
This is the second time the IGP will spurn the invitation of the Senate.
His first appearance was supposed to be last Thursday when he accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to Bauchi State during his official visit.
