Mercedes-Benz Centre hosts art portrait exhibition
In line with its aim to trigger a newfound appreciation of the arts and help nurture a new generation of visual artists the sprawling Mercedes-Benz Centre along Lekki-Epe Expressway was transformed to an art gallery penultimate Saturday with the opening reception of an art exhibition by one of Nigeria’s foremost artist, Tayo Ayelowo.
The art exhibition with the theme, “Standing with the Kings’ played host to several art enthusiasts from across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, and were well impressed by the wonderful works exhibited.
Some of the paintings included various traditional rulers in Nigeria, illustrating creativity in its most scintillating form.
According to the organisers, the public is welcome to come watch exemplary royal leaders come to life as they take a tour around the classic cars on display for the next two weeks as the art exhibition is set to hold from 26th November to 12th December, 2016.
