Messi tells friend, Alcacer to leave Barcelona
By Boluwatife Ezekiel Olaleye
Lionel Messi has told Barcelona team-mate and friend Paco Alcacer to begin looking for a new club in January.
Messi and Alcacer are close friends on and off the pitch but the Argentinian superstar apparently wants the striker to leave.
Spanish website Don Balon say Messi wants to see his pal thrive at a new club.
He has reportedly told the former Valencia man to leave at the earliest opportunity once the January transfer window opens.
Messi is said to have a close ear to manager Valverde and knows Alcacer will not feature heavily in his plans this season.
