Velly tweeted, “Just listened to the new Wizkid (Money and Love) and damn the tears in my eyes. The lyrics, the art cover, the beat, the melody…everything was garbage from beginning to end. On my way to the hospital, definitely the worst song I’ve ever heard.”
Buchi wrote, “You see that Money & Love Song! – It might hit you slowly or fast!! But When it does, it will put you in a different realm and you will get hooked! Wiz have mastered the act of making sweet beautiful music.”
Stating that the song lacked lyrical content, Daniel Regha said, “Wizkid’s new song ‘Money and Love’ has an amazing instrumental & the voicing was good, but the song has no lyrical content. Lyricism is very important in music. Wizkid’s pen game is quite disappointing for a top-rated artiste. He should step out of his comfort zone. No shades.”
“I tried ‘Bad To Me’ one month later, e still no gel. But you see ‘Money & Love,’ I love it. The songwriting is not great – don’t listen for that. But the production is insane and Wizkid found the right rhythm. R&B pace, Afrobeats percussion, Jazz guitars and pianos ![]()

.” Motalani tweeted.
The song will be in his new album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ set to drop November 3.
