The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore branch in Katsina State has denounced the insult of Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State by the National Secretary of the Association, Saleh Alhassan, over the governor’s statement identifying the bandits terrorizing the state to include the Fulani.

Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore in Katsina State, Hassan Kuraye, at a press conference in Katsina, denouncing the insult on the governor, indicated that members of the association plead with Governor Masari for forgiveness.

The Katsina State branch of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, accordingly, declared its alliance with the national leadership in dissociating the group from the utterances of the National Secretary, Saleh Alhassan, who insulted and ridiculed Governor Aminu Masari to public opprobrium. Saleh made derogatory statements against Masari over his identifying the Fulani as being primarily responsible for the banditry and associated killings in the North, particularly, the northwest.

It was gathered that Governor Masari had earlier responded  to the insults by the national secretary of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, threatening legal action against Alhassan. The Katsina State branch apologized about two days later.

The Public Relations Officer of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore in Katsina State, Izma Yamadi, had on behalf of the state chairman, Hassan Kuraye, had chided Alhassan that with the enormous contributions made by Governor Masari in handling farmers/Herders clashes in Katsina State, the secretary’s statement was unwarranted and uncalled for.

Izma Yamadi pointed out that Saleh is not of the National Secretariat, adding that the Katsina State branch too had to respond, clear the state chapter, and dissociate itself from the statement. He was of the view that the National Secretary must be regretting his action at the moment.

He revealed that the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore National President and other members of the executive will soon be visiting Katsina to deliberate with the governor and plead to him.

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, however, assured that the association would continue to assist the government in finding solutions to the perennial banditry in the northwest and other parts of the country.

And we are to believe Katsina branch is different from the national body, right? Wrong! And Buhari is from Katsina along with the gov, and Alhassan d national secretary lambasted them just like that? Wrong again! The point is southern nigeria has become too advanced to fall for Miyetti Allah or Fulani games: southerners have been convinced that Fulani is terrible and bloodthirsty set of human beings, and d knowledge of this is d beginning of wisdom in d southern mind.
