Mr. Macaroni alleges that a serving minister and a SAN is peddling fake news
A popular comedian known as Mr. Macaroni, has accused a top government official of participating in the spread of fake news. He revealed that the member of the federal executive council and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN actively spreads fake news.
The popular comedy skit maker made the allegation on social media, were he claimed that the situation is embarrassing because the person in question is a well-respected senior officer in the government that claimed to be fighting fake news.
He expressed his thoughts through a message on twitter, and his tweet reads; “It is embarrassing that a Serving Minister who sadly who sadly is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is at the fore front of spreading fake news.
“This is a senior officer in the government that claims to be fighting Fake News. This man was once a respected figure. How unfortunate!!!”
However, despite expressing his disappoint the Skit maker failed to provide the identity of the minister in question.
