My wife turns my house to brothel, sleeps with different men – husband tells court
It was a case of regret and bitter taste of marriage on Thursday as an 88-year-old man, Gbeminiyi Adeyiga, begged an Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his marriage of 30 years old over his wife’s infidelity.
The petitioner alleged that apart from the wife not caring for him, she threatened to kill him.
Adeyiga, who resides at No. 3, Adeyiga Street, off Munirat Aleje Street in Ikorodu, told court that “My wife does not take care of me any longer.
“She does not give me good food and different men come to sleep with her in our home. In addition, she frustrates me and wants to kill me.”
He pleaded passionately with the magistrate to separate them as he does not want to die now.
Responding, the embattled wife rather pleaded with the court not to separate them even though he denied not having sexual relationship with multiple men in their house.

The 55 years old trader, Sekinat explained that she still love her husband and want the marriage to continue.
“I beg the court to settle us. He has never caught me with a man. He always suspected my every move to the extent that he smells my pants whenever I go out and come back.
“I want this court to settle this matter I am not ready for divorce,” she pleaded.
Mrs Funmi Adeola, president of the court, admonished Sekinat to respect the sanctity of marriage and take good care of the doting husband.
She, however, adjourned the case until November 30 for judgment.
