New date for Magu’s screening
Several weeks after the Senate unanimously rejected the screening of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the National Assembly has accepted to screen him on Wednesday, (tomorrow).
President Muhammadu Buhari had renominated Magu after the lawmakers rejected his nomination based on unconfirmed, purported security report by the Department of State Services.
President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, disclosed the screening made at the plenary on Tuesday.
