NFF VP Akinwunmi wins 2019 Ahlan cup award
The 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi becomes the latest recipient of the award for the ”Charity sponsor of the year” at prestigious Ahlan Cup preseason football tournament.
Now in its 3rd year, the Ahlan cup preseason tournament continues to recognise those charities that are innovative, exemplify best practices, and deliver sustainable benefits to communities and society in general and the Lagos state football association boss was the perfect choice for the 2019 award.
Akinwunmi’s life as a philanthropist is well documented and he should be in the school syllabus for Nigerian kids to learn for future leaders. Akinwunmi has contributed in no small measure to various charities aimed at developments and improvement of indigent and brilliant children.
Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi is truly humanistic in giving, and still wants to give to football what it truly deserves.
