Nigeria @ 66: NIPSS DG Omotayo, calls on Nigerians to Fuel National Progress

​The magnificent story of Nigeria shines brighter today as our legendary nation celebrates 66 years of glorious independence, the Director General National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Prof Ayo Omotayo has said.

Speaking on the occasion of the Nation’s Independence Day anniversary, Omotayo issued a stirring call to every proud son and daughter of the soil—both at home and across the diaspora—to unite with renewed passion and dedication to build a secure, prosperous, and unstoppable giant of Nigeria.

However, in a triumphant message honoring President Bola Tinubu and the country’s invincible populace, Omotayo hailed Nigeria historic milestone as a sacred moment to salute the unbroken Nigerian identity and honor Nigeria’s remarkable march through history.

He reminded Nigerians that while the journey has tested citizens resolve, the relentless spirit, boundless ingenuity, and formidable courage of the Nigerian people will ensure that the nation’s horizon remains limitlessly bright.

​Celebrating the visionary direction of leadership, the NIPSS chieftain commended Tinubu’s bold economic and security reforms, which are paving the way toward enduring national strength.

With deep faith in patriotic duty, the NIPSS DG underscored that the ultimate triumph of Nigeria endeavors lies in the collective power of an active, engaged citizenry working hand-in-hand with robust public institutions to secure a glorious tomorrow.

According to him: “​Our nation’s true majesty resides in the brilliance of our people, whose brilliance shines in science, agriculture, business, academia, and the arts across every corner of the globe”, he said.

Championing the country’s dynamic youth as the beating heart of Nigeria’s future, he urged leaders to nurture the vibrant wellspring of talent, unleashing their unstoppable energy to power Nigeria’s unstoppable rise.

​He affirmed thatthe nation’s march toward sustainable prosperity relies on purposeful leadership, strategic action, and a deep-seated pride in civic responsibility.

“By channeling our patriotic fervour into strong institutions and decisive action, we ensure that the promise of a vibrant Nigeria touches the life of every single citizen across our vast, beautiful land.

“​Above all, the unity and peace of our great motherland remain our most sacred trust, serving as the invincible pillar upon which all progress and prosperity stand”, he said.

Omotayo rallied every Nigerian to guard the shared peace and security fiercely, reminding citizens that protecting the homeland and fostering social harmony is a holy mandate shared by all who proudly call Nigeria home.

​He added that NIPSS remains fully pledged to guiding the country’s paths through world-class strategic research, visionary policy dialogue, and transformational leadership development.
