Phyna knocks out Nkechi Blessing in fourth round, calls out Etinosa

Reality TV star Phyna has defeated actress Nkechi Blessing in a dramatic celebrity boxing contest, securing a fourth-round knockout in the early hours of Friday.

The bout, staged as the headline attraction of the “Chaos in the Ring” event, capped a tense build-up that had generated considerable attention among fans and across social media.

The rivalry between the two entertainers had escalated from verbal exchanges to a physical confrontation, culminating in their appearance inside the boxing ring.

Tensions reportedly boiled over during promotional activities ahead of the fight, with Phyna and Nkechi Blessing exchanging heated words at a press event before organisers intervened to separate them.

The wider event also witnessed other dramatic moments. A confrontation involving Carter Efe and Speed Darlington reportedly ended with a birthday cake being kicked to the ground, while firecrackers associated with Carter Efe’s entourage briefly sparked a fire at the venue before it was put out.

Blessing was unable to beat the referee’s count, bringing the contest to an end and handing Phyna a knockout victory.

Phyna was subsequently presented with the championship belt, while one of the event promoters reportedly rewarded her with a brand-new car.

Speaking after the fight, Phyna said the knockout was part of her strategy from the beginning.

According to her, she intended to “gas out” Blessing before going for the knockout, and she expressed satisfaction that the plan ultimately worked.

However, Phyna’s celebration quickly turned into another challenge.

Immediately after the victory, she called out actress Etinosa, challenging her to another celebrity boxing contest.
