NNL Postpones 2019 League Draws Indefinitely
Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Lawrence Katken has said the league body has postponed the date for 2019 NNL draws slated to be held on Monday 25th March 2019 in Abuja, National Daily gathered.
Katken, while speaking in Abuja confirmed that the date for the draws has been shifted to a yet to be fixed date.
In his words: “The draws for the 2019 NNL season will no longer hold 9n Monday (25th March 2019) but we will call all the stakeholders on our decision on the date for the draws.”
Nigeria National League held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) last Wednesday in Abuja on the same date the draws for the 42 NNL teams suppose to be held.
According to the management of the league, the date for the draws was postponed because some teams are yet to complete their registration for the 2019 NNL season. They added that the league can not commence without all participating teams completing their regist,
