Nollywood actress passes on after a prolong battle with cancer
Nollywood fast-rising actress, Gbemi Anjola, is dead.
It was gathered that the 33-year-old passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, after a prolong battle with ovarian cancer.
According to one of her colleagues, “She she was diagnosed with the ailment sometime in 2021. She went to Dubai for chemotherapy for about six months and came back cancer free. But for the pass one month she has been complaining of headaches and lost of memory, so we took her to the hospital.
They said she will need one glass and some drugs which will cost about N500k and I told her we don’t need to post, that it’s something that we can arrange between us.
Yesterday she was very fine but around 7 PM she complained of headache again and was rushed to the hospital where she passed away.”
