Northern Christian APC members pull out of Muslim-Muslim presidential campaign
The northern Christian members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have pulled out of the presidential campaign of the party which is sponsoring Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket in 2023. The northern Christians, after the inauguration of the Muslim-Muslim Presidential Campaign Council, urged all Christians in the APC from the region, including Christians in other parts of Nigeria, not to participate in the APC presidential campaigns.
The northern Christians at a media conference in Abuja, demanded the APC to review the Muslim-Muslim ticket of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima in order to get their support for the 2023 elections.
The northern Christians berated those Christians who accepted the APC Presidential Campaign Council, accusing them of betrayal, and urging them to resign. They protested that ‘Christians will suffer more untold prosecution under an APC Government in Nigeria’.
