Oba Osolo tasks LASG on enthronement of Oloworo-Elect, Implore aggrieved side to cease fire
HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo, has urged the Lagos state government to expedite action on the installation of Prince Nurudeen Olalekan Alade Saliu as the Oloworo-Elect.
Oba Agbabiaka urged the state government to hasten the process of installing Omooba Nurudeen Olaleka Alade Saliu, Elebo (L’Oworo) II; as the family had perfected all required royal rites .
Speaking at his Palace, Oba Agbabiaka who restates his support for the Oloworo-Elect, implored the aggrieved sides to bury the hatchet, and join other members of the family to endorse the Oloworo-Elect in his bid to be the second Oloworo.
Oba Osolo, who doubled as the Head of the Saliu Ruling House of Oworonsoki Royal family in Kosofe LGA, noted that he did not single-handedly select, Prince Nurudeen, but a decision of all the Members of the family, who presented the Consensus candidate to him for endorsement and blessings.
According to the Isolo Monarch, endorsement of Nurudeen was also at the presence of members of the family led by the eldest member of the family, Alhaja Chief Mrs, Salawatu Akindele.
Osolo, however, warned those who insisted in fanning the embers of discord and disunity to sustain the unwarranted vacuum in a well structured and peaceful family of the Late HRM. Alayeluwa Oba Basir Oloruntoyin Saliu, the demised Oloworo of Oworosoki. To cease all acrimony.
