Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has joined the people of Owa Kingdom and Deltans at large in celebrating the 66th coronation anniversary of the Obi of Owa, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON.
In a congratulatory message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori extolled the monarch as a towering figure in Nigeria’s traditional institution whose reign has fostered peace, unity, and socio-economic development within Owa Kingdom and across Delta State.
Describing the Obi as a man of wisdom and dignity, the Governor recalled his exemplary service as immediate past Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, where he championed communal harmony and provided steady guidance to successive administrations.
“Your reign has been remarkable, defined by peace, wisdom, and devotion to the wellbeing of your people. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with you and pray for many more years of fruitful leadership,” Oborevwori said.
He further commended the monarch’s commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Owa Kingdom, while offering invaluable counsel that has strengthened governance and deepened respect for traditional authority in Delta State.
Governor Oborevwori prayed for God’s continuous blessings on the revered royal father, wishing him good health and long life.
He also urged the people of Owa Kingdom to remain steadfast in their support for their monarch as he continues to promote unity, progress, and the collective aspirations of his people.
