Ogun Arewa Youths sign up for Tinubu/Shettima presidency, bolsters Gov Dapo Abiodun re-election bid
Convinced by the sterling feats achieved by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his days as Lagos State Governor, All Progressives Congress Chieftain in Ogun state, Engr Muritala Salau Audu has tasked Nigerian eligible voters to vote enmasse for the APC presidential candidate-Asiwaju so as to enable him replicate the Lagos success magic across the length and breadth of the country.
Engr Muritala Audu, who is the National Vice Chairman, Advisory Council for the Pro-Tinubu group (Arewa Youth For Tinubu/Shettima 2023), made the assertion during a peaceful walk held over the weekend at Ogijo area of Sagamu in Ogun state,to drum up support for the APC presidential candidate and his vice Senator Kassim Shettima.
Majorly teeming youths from the northern extraction of Nigeria converged at the Ogijo Sagamu local government ward Secretariat of the APC, where they declared total support for Tinubu/Shettima ticket as President and Vice President of Nigeria come 2023.
Audu emphasized that Nigeria and Nigerians can never go wrong with Tinubu holding the reins of power.
Staging the walk, the group also laid credence to the worthy attainments and performance of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), adding that his works are “conspicuous and overwhelming enough for him to stage a come back for the second term in office as governor of the gateway state.”
Engr Muritala Salau Audu while speaking during the Tinubu/Shettima solidarity walk, stressed that: “ The State Governor has a good sense of equity, his project is evenly distributed across the state without lop-sidedness hence, he should be given one more chance to consolidate on those projects for the betterment of the state and her citizens.
“The public show in support of the party’s Presidential candidate is premised on the fact that the candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu is a sellable politician, who have tremendously contributed to the growth of Nigeria over the years.
He added that: “ Asiwaju Tinubu’s foot prints in Lagos is so indelible such that it cannot be erased easily therefore, it is imperative that Nigerians supports Tinubu’s presidential candidacy so that he can replicate Lagos success magic across the country.”
The group’s solidarity walk in the heart Ogijo township is basically to reaffirm awareness and to drive home their campaigns, why Asiwaju Tinubu should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023.
Passers-by and residents of Ogijo community also join the fray of those identifying and signifying their preference for Asiwaju Tinubu’s Presidential bid and Governor Dapo Abiodun re-election for a second term in office.
