Okitipupa LGA Chairman presents ₦6.39 Billion “Our Ease” budget for 2025
The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government Area in Ondo State, Mr. Andrew Ogunsakin, has presented a budget proposal of ₦6,396,762,305.10K for the 2025 fiscal year to the legislative council, earmarking ₦3.07 billion for recurrent expenditure and ₦2.19 billion for capital projects under the theme “Our Ease.”
Mr. Andrew Ogunsakin, the Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government Area (LGA) in Ondo State, has formally presented the 2025 appropriation bill, totaling ₦6,396,762,305.10K, to the legislative council.
The budget, aptly tagged “Our Ease,” allocates ₦3,078,864,294.59K for recurrent expenditure and ₦2,197,750,000.00K for capital projects aimed at fostering development within the local government.
Presenting the budget to the leader of the legislative council, Rt. Hon. Dada Adeleye, at the legislative chamber in Okitipupa, Chairman Ogunsakin emphasized that this move signifies his administration’s commitment to transparent governance and strategic developmental planning.
According to Mr. Ogunsakin, the budget presentation underscores his administration’s dedication to people-centered governance, fiscal responsibility, and accelerated grassroots development.
“The 2025 budget was carefully crafted to reflect the yearnings of the people, with strategic emphasis on critical areas that directly impact the people,” he stated.
“It is with a joyful heart that I stand before you today to formally present the 2025 Appropriation Bill, for your kind consideration and approval. This budget is not just a document; it is a roadmap for action, progress, and prosperity for our people,”Chairman Ogunsakin added.

In response, Rt. Hon. Dada Adeleye, the leader of the legislative council, commended Chairman Ogunsakin for the timely presentation of the appropriation bill.
He assured the Chairman of the legislative council’s readiness to give the proposed budget a swift yet thorough consideration, prioritizing the best interests of the people of Okitipupa LGA.
“With the budget presentation, the Ogunsakin-led administration sets the tone for a transformative 2025 with a vision of massive delivery and impact for the people,” Rt. Hon. Adeleye remarked.
The budget presentation ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including the Vice Chairman of Okitipupa LGA, Mr. Orimisan Ogunyemi; the Director of Budget Planning, Mr. Adelana Adesunloye; the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Prince Adeoye Ojomo; as well as other Heads of Departments, esteemed Councillors, and representatives of the public.
