Okowa, celebrates, commends Supreme Court’s judgment upholding Speaker Oborevwori as PDP gov candidate in Delta
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday, commended the judgment of the Supreme Court which upheld Rt. Hon. Oborevwori Sheriff as the PDP Governorship Candidate in Delta State, he said that the hurdles before the judgement are a test of faith.
Governor Okowa at a thanksgiving Service at Government House Chapel on Friday for celebration of the Supreme Court judgement, thanked God for keeping everyone alive to see the end of the legal battle, urging the Speaker to ensure that the fire in the Government House Chapel remains aglow.
Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori ascribed all glory to God for the victory at the Supreme Court.
David Edevbie, losing the certificate perjury suit at the Appeal Court, had proceeded to the Supreme Court to seek the disqualification of Oborevwori as PDP governorship candidate.
