On wedding morning, bride discovers bridegroom is still married, with kids

Chiamaka Elizabeth has prepared for months for Nov. 20. But she never witnessed it though she is still alive.

Hers was one of those stories better told in Zee World.

Her husband-to-be Lewis (not real name) has been married for years. And he has children.

But he played Lizzy all through the courtship, leading her until the wedding plan was all buttoned up, pre-nup shoot done, and he would he taking her down the aisle.

When love fills the heart, the head must feel giddy.

Then came the revelation.

“I discovered the man I intended to marry is already married with children,” she announced in a Facebook post on the morning of the wedding day.

From the post, Lizzy appeared strong still. Rather than wail or rave or curse her stay, she apologized to all those already invited for the inconveniences she caused them.

“I won’t be able to receive calls at the moment, or respond to questions and comments,” she wrote.

“I will be offline for a while to clear my head.”
