One killed as tree falls on moving vehicle

One person has been confirmed killed after a tree fell on a moving mini commercial bus, on Murtala Mohammed Highway in Calabar, the State capital Tuesday morning, National Daily Report.
Eyewitness told our correspondent that the yet-to-be-identified passenger boarded the bus to work in the early hours of today.
A Facebook user identified as Christ TI, told National Daily that the tragic incident happened close to the State Universal Education Management Board in the state capital.
Two women who occupied the front seat were unhurt while the bus driver sustain a minor injury.
All efforts to contact the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Abdullahi Hassan, prove abortive.
The remains of the deceased passenger has been deposited at the morgue.
