Ooni accepts grand patron honour of Swimming Federation
Arrangements have been made for the Maiden Edition of the Oba Enitan Adeyeye Annual National Para – Swimming Championship in Nigeria.
This was disclosed recently by Otunba Sylvester Ikuejamoye who led the Board of the Nigeria Para – Swimming Federation on a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja ll.
Ikuejamoye told National Daily that the Para – Swimming Championship will soon announced venue is slated for January 2019.
During the visit where the championship was formalised, the revered monarch also accepted the conferment of the Life Grand Patron of the Federation.
Other Board Members on the visiting team are; Prof (Mrs) Fatiregun of Obafemi Awolowo University, Special Asviser to Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Special Persons.
Also present at the Ooni’s Palace on Wednesday during the visit is Princess Folashade Arise as well as member of Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Tajudeen Famuyide among others.
