Speaking to the club’s website, Osimhen clarified that his injury was not serious. “I felt some discomfort and informed the coach. I didn’t want to affect the team’s performance, so I made the decision to step out.”
Reflecting on the match, Osimhen expressed disappointment with the result but emphasized the need to focus on upcoming games. “We deserved the win, but football can be like that. We will work harder to perform better in future matches.”
Despite the draw, Galatasaray remains at the top of the league table.
