Osinbajo: Surgeons give update on VP’s health
A team of orthopaedic doctors who fixed the broken thigh-bone of V.P Yemi Osinbajo have given an update on the surgery.
According to them, Osinbajo broke his thighbone long ago while playing squash.
The news of Osinbajo’s long broken thigh-bone came weeks after he lost the APC presidential ticket to rival and former benefactor Bola Tinubu, 70, believed to be in worse shape than others.
The VP was on Saturday admitted to the Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos.
“The operation was successful, and he is expected to be discharged within the next few days”, said Dr Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi, the Medical Director.
Others on the team include: Dr. Wallace Ogufere, Dr. Om Lahoti and Dr. Babajide Lawson, all Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons).
Others were Dr. Ken Adegoke (consultant in anaesthesia & critical care) and Dr. Oladimeji Agbabiaka, consultant anaesthetists.
