Panic as strange illness sends over 90 Kenyan schoolgirls to the hospital
Kenyan health authorities are currently investigating the cause of a myst£rious illness that has left over 90 schoolgirls hospitalized.
The students from Eregi Girls High School, in the western part of the country, were reported to show symptoms of knee pain and difficulty in walking.
According to local media report, senior official from the Ministry of Education, who visited the school on Tuesday, October 3, assured concerned parents that the situation is being managed.

He also stated that regular classes would continue for other students who are not affected by the illness.
“The education department, the county government and public health department are giving a commitment that the children will be treated,” said Jared Obiero, the regional director of education.
