PDP Chairman, Ayu, proceeds on 2 weeks vacation overseas, hands over power to deputy
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, proceeds on two weeks’ vacation overseas on Wednesday. Ayu, accordingly, handed over power to the Deputy National Chairman, North, Iliya Damagun, to run the party in his absence.
The Special Adviser to the PDP national chairman on Media and Communications, Simon Imobo-Tswam, in a statement, disclosed that Ayu will embark on two weeks’ vacation, saying, “while away, the Deputy Chairman (North), Amb. Iliya Damagun, will act in his place.”
Imobo-Tswam said that the national chairman has notified the Independent National Electoral Commission of his vacation and handover to his deputy chairman.
