Police arrest four bandits at Fulani camp, recover two locally fabricated guns

The Nigeria Police at the weekend arrested four bandits at the Fulani camp, near Garun-Gabaa Village, Raffi Local Government Area, Niger State.  Operatives of Puff Adder II of the Niger State Police Command attached to Kagara Police Division, deployed to restore peace in the state, acting on a credible intelligence, apprehended the four-man banditry gang, who include Shehu Usman, 21 years; Umar Yahaya, 21 years; Nasiru Dogo – aka -Badari, 21 years; and Idris Ado, 20 years.

The four suspects were identified to be from Fulani camp, near Garun-Gabaa village of Raffi LGA in Niger State.

The suspects were intercepted and arrested with two locally fabricated guns while on their way to Garun – Gabas Market. On interrogation, they confessed to some of their criminal activities which include cattle rustling at Garun-Gabas, Garun Dangana village and its environs in Raffi LGA.

The suspects further confessed that the two locally fabricated guns belong to one Lawal Muminu, currently at large. The task force is already on the manhunt of the fleeing Lawal, while the police are conducting further investigation.
