Police nab violent masquerades in Lagos

The Lagos state police force have apprehended masquerades at Elere area of Agege for allegedly robbing the community and causing chaos in the area.
In a video gone viral on facebook, the Commissioner of police, Edgar Imohimi said the masquerades who were not backed by the traditional ruler were apprehended alongside other hoodlums for breach of the peace in the area.
The Commissioner said the violent masquerades attempted to attack a policeman when they were arrested.
