Premier League reacts to the racist scandal involving Argentinian players
Argentinian national team players have found themselves embroiled in a scandal for singing a racist song about the French national team. The English Premier League has issued a response to this celebration.
“The Premier League and our clubs are committed to combating all forms of discrimination. We are in contact with Chelsea Football Club and will continue to support clubs, players, and staff in addressing discriminatory breaches,” the statement read.
Additionally, UEFA has begun an investigation into the Spanish national team’s celebration and the chant “Gibraltar is Spain.”

Additionally, players of the Argentine national team found themselves in a racist scandal during the celebration of their Copa América victory, prompting a reaction from Vice President Victoria Villarruel.
It should be noted that France has appealed to FIFA to address this issue. According to the French Football Federation, FIFA has now initiated an investigation into the situation.
Additionally, this situation has affected Chelsea. The club has begun an internal investigation as one of the participants, midfielder Enzo Fernández, is implicated in the scandal.
