Presidency 2023: Obidient Movement holds one-million march in Ogun
The Obidient Movement, identified as Coalition for Peter Obi presidential project, on Saturday held a one-million-man march in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to mobilise support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, in the 2023 general elections.
Participants commenced the street walk from the Kuto Market, march through major streets before terminating at the Panseke market.
A member of the coalition, Tolulope Philips, was said to have explained that the street walk was to create more awareness and drum support for a Peter Obi presidency. He expressed that Obi is the best among other candidates for the president of the country in 2023.
Youths have held similar roadshow got Obi in Nasarawa, Kaduna, Benue, Imo, Rivers and Edo states.
