Presidency 2023: Tinubu thanks Cross River people, Gov Ganduje on visit to Calabar
The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday expressed gratitude to the people of Cross Rivers State for the friendly reception accorded him during his visit to the state and consultation with APC national delegates. Tinubu, a presidential aspirant in the APC, also thanked Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State for accompanying him on the journey to Calabar, Cross River State. Tinubu on his official twitter handle Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu @officialABAT wrote: “Thank you Cross River for an invigorating and special reception.
“I must also say a special thanks to Governor Ganduje of Kano for accompanying me in the trip and Governor Ayade @sirbenayade for graciously hosting all of us.”
Tinubu in Calabar lobbied the APC national delegates for support at the party’s national convention scheduled for June 6 for the election of the APC presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.
