Presidency 2023: Wike declares support for Peter Obi
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Thursday declared support, for the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, promised to provide “logistics support” for his campaigns.
Wike at the inauguration of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover in Port Harcourt, presided by Obi declared that the LP presidential candidate has all the characteristic to lead Nigeria.
The Rivers State governor gave Obi the assurance: “Each time you want to campaign in the state, let me know, all the logistics support, we will give to you.”
Wike had invited Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, to commission the 9th flyover in Port Harcourt. The event pulled out numerous ‘Obidients’, supporters of the LP presidential candidate in the state.
