Reactions after Peter Obi shared pictures from his visit with Pat Utomi to Washington DC
Mixed reactions have trailed the pictures of the former governor of Anambra State and presidential flag bearer of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, which were captured from his visit to Washington DC on Thursday in company of his colleague, Pat Utomi and others.
Mr. Obi has been touring different countries of the world to interface with Nigerians in diaspora over the long anticipated Nigerian general election which will hold in February 2023. However, this is the first time he is been spotted with his colleague, Pat Utomi.
Recall that Pat is the former presidential flag bearer of the party (Labour Party) when Obi was in the People Democratic Party, PDP, but after his defection to the Labour Party, Pat willingly stepped down for him on the day they were supposed to conduct their Presidential Primary Election in Asaba, Delta State.
Reacting to the pictures, some people commended the duo for their continuous efforts to create awareness among Nigerians in diaspora, while a host of others criticized such movement since the country is yet to declare election campaign open. Below are some of the reactions.
