Rivers House of Assembly set ablaze over threat to impeach Gov. Fubara
The chamber of the Rivers State House of Assembly was on Sunday night, October 29, set ablaze by yet-to-be-identified persons in the state.
This is coming amidst rumors of an impending impeachment procedure against the state Governor Similanayi Fubara.

It was gathered that the arsonists gained entry into the chamber and set it ablaze at about 9:45pm.
According to reports, the quick intervention of the men of fire service stopped the fire from spreading to the entire Assembly complex.
