Russia declares 11 killed, 15 injured in terrorist attack on military training site
Russia on Saturday declared a “terrorist” attack on its military training ground in the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, lamenting that at least 11 people were killed and 15 injured in the attack.

The defence ministry of Russia cited by Russian news agencies, stated that the attack occurred during a training session for volunteers for the “special military operation” in Ukraine which commenced towards the end of February.
The Russian defence ministry had stated: “On October 15, two citizens of a CIS country committed an act of terror at training range of the Western military district in the Belgorod region.
“As a result, 11 people were fatally wounded. Another 15 people suffered injuries of varying gravity and were taken to medical facilities.”
The defence ministry, however, noted that two of the attackers “were killed in retaliatory fire”.
