Samstix drops Bamijo

FROM the stable of Drumline Entertainment Quietenoiz Ent comes a brand new single, “Bamijo”(Yoruba word for tango or dance with me). This lovely mid tempo love song with an infectious hook is produced and sang by Samstix. The music producer, performer, singer, drummer and song writer, Olayanju Samson “Samstix”, is one gifted artist with an unquenchable knack for excellence. The surge to singing and writing was to be later self-discovered after first conquering the drums and drumsticks through his formative years in the platform provided by the church. As an undergraduate at the Osun State College of Technolgy Esa Oke where he studied Banking and Finance, he found rhythmic solace in a two-man singing group called ‘De Blue Eyed’ (as co-birthed with a friend he met on campus).  For the penchant for music and drive to create different sounds he ventured into music production in 2010. According to him ‘dope music production is what happens to you when you have a full musical band performing in your head’. Thus far, Samstix has worked with legions of well known and upcoming artistes. His opus rages from drumming to singing and producing. His style of singing and production is professionally diversified to accommodate different flavors of the African sound as well as its contemporaries.
