Saraki appoints Onaiwu Liaison Officer on State Matters
Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has appointed 59-year old Earl Osaro Onaiwu as Liaison Officer to the Senate President on State Matters.
Yusuph Olaniyonu, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to Senate President, in a statement on Wednesday, highlighted that Onaiwu, an experienced politician and public administrator, will help to co-ordinate relationship between the Office of the Senate President and the various state governments across the country.
The appointment is coming at time the senate president under intense inferno from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to resign as the Presiding Officer of the Senate and chairman of the Eight national Assembly after his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the ruling APC.
