Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, wife absent as son weds partner

Former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, were absent at their son’s wedding in Abuja on Saturday due to their ongoing trial in the United Kingdom for organ harvesting.

The wedding of Lloyd Ekweremadu and his partner, Tiffany, took place at a private event in Abuja. The event was attended by family members, friends, and political associates of the Ekweremadus.

However, the Ekweremadus were not present at the wedding. They have been in detention in the UK since June 23, 2022, after they were charged with conspiring to bring a child to the UK for organ harvesting.
