Senegal, Bosnia, 8 other countries crash out of World Cup 2026 after round of 32 battles
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Senegal have become the latest countries to exit the 2026 FIFA World Cup after suffering defeats in their Round of 32 fixtures.
Bosnia and Herzegovina were knocked out following a 2-0 loss to co-hosts the United States. Goals from Folarin Balogun and Malik Tillman secured victory for the Americans and booked their place in the Round of 16.
Earlier, Belgium also progressed to the last 16 after edging Senegal 3-2 in an entertaining encounter.

A brace from Youri Tielemans and a goal by Romelu Lukaku proved decisive as Rudi Garcia’s side overcame the African champions to continue their World Cup campaign.
With the latest results, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Senegal join Ecuador, Sweden, Ivory Coast, Japan, DR Congo, Germany, South Africa and the Netherlands among the teams eliminated from the tournament.
A total of 10 nations have now exited the competition following the conclusion of the Round of 32 matches, while the remaining teams continue their quest for World Cup glory in the Round of 16
